What challenges/problems triggered One Pot Catering to implement a catering software?

Our previous software was limited in its capabilities and we wanted a system that would streamline our backend processes and automate recurring tasks, as well as make our clients’ experience as effortless as possible.

What system did you use before FoodStorm?

Spoonfed. We were the first in Australia to use their system.

What trends in the catering industry drove the need to switch to FoodStorm?

As more of our clients began to place their orders online, we required a more advanced and easier to use eCommerce platform.

What were you looking for in a catering software solution?

At One Pot we needed a catering software that would serve us in four key areas:

  1. It needed to be very customer friendly, so our clients could place and manage their orders autonomously
  2. Software that was easy to set up
  3. Changes were easy to make in the backend, including being able to easily update our menu offering
  4. Reporting from the backend was accurate, available in real time 24/7 and simplified trends

What made FoodStorm stand out over the other companies you researched?

The all-in-one package FoodStorm offered is what made them stand apart from all other competitors. From our internal usage to our customers’ usage, it has everything we need. The stellar Support Team also made everything easy for us.

How did our team help with implementation?

FoodStorm’s Support Team ensured our move from our old catering software to FoodStorm was effortless, as they helped us set up our accounting software integration, assisted in our menu building and trained our team to ensure we were confident using the software. The entire process was done very, very well.

How has FoodStorm helped your business, saved you money and/or increased productivity since implementation?

It has allowed us to showcase what we do in a more energetic way. The menus look great. Food photos look fantastic. It’s easy for a client to set themselves up and order. It has saved us a lot of admin hours. The production and order reporting have helped us tremendously on a daily basis. FoodStorm also saves us time ordering produce for the next day.

What have you been most impressed with being a FoodStorm customer?

How many features FoodStorm has and how powerful it is while remaining easy to use. The Support Team is outstanding. We love hearing our customers’ reactions the first time they visit our online ordering site; they are always so blown away with how polished it looks and how easy it is to navigate. And lastly, the reporting through the backend is so easy to navigate.
