The people, our clients, the software. Each and every aspect of working at FoodStorm makes it a great place to work! How can I choose just one?
At FoodStorm, our people are passionate about our product and our clients. We work to stay apprised of all industry news and changes. At FoodStorm, we foster an environment where creativity is encouraged and professional growth is a priority. We believe in our software and we continue helping our clients achieve benchmarks and position themselves for future success.
Catering technology is the way of the future and is key in giving caterers, grocery stores, and even restaurants the opportunity to showcase prepared foods and the array of choices that may not otherwise get seen, for small and large gatherings. The industry will continue to grow and expand, and catering technology will provide the means to connect our clients with a larger customer base and automatic internal practices.
As a graduate of Johnson & Wales University, my background is in foodservice and catering operations. I have experience managing several national chains. About 9 years ago I decided to build my portfolio and move into the technology side of the hospitality industry, working within the SaaS online ordering space. FoodStorm was a natural fit. I couldn't be happier to work with such a great team with such an exceptional product!
Passion, respect, and trust. As a Leo, passion comes naturally, and I always seek to earn the respect of my peers and the people around me. When I am trusted to spearhead and manage projects, take on a new client, or approach a new challenge -- this gets me up in the morning. I love working and I suppose a bit of a people pleaser too. Seeing our clients delighted with our software and being able to build these relationships drives me.
Phenomenal! FoodStorm’s commitment to our clients and team is extraordinary. Like the definition of phenomenal, our drive and commitment to success is “perceptible by the senses or through immediate experience.” I knew upon joining FoodStorm, that this is a special place to work.
It's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. This is a quote too, but it’s something that has always helped me get through life more positively. I’ve experienced real loss at a young age, and while I would never want this for anyone, it’s been a gift in that I get to see that no matter how long someone is in your life, you can take with you so much. Everyone gives you something, and there is always a lesson to be learned, an experience and growth to be gained.
Dog Person (but I love cats too)! Zoey is my 8-year-old fur baby. According to a DNA test, she’s a purebred pit, but I still think she’s a mut. Either way, she’s the love of my life. As cute as cats are, they’ll never need you like a dog. Just look at that face!
New England beaches and seafood. I make sure to visit once a year, if not more! I love the water and sunshine, and there’s nothing more healing than being near the sea.
If I’m at home, I like to explore, go to new places and try new things. I keep my eye on all upcoming events and frequently go with friends to check out new venues and interesting things to do outdoors. To give you an idea of such events this summer I have visited arboretums, music & food festivals, car races, and more. I’ve learned to soak-up my time off with good friends, new experiences!
Skydiving. My mom and a couple of my friends have called my desire crazy, but this is me! I like to do things 150% and taking that “leap” of faith. I think skydiving will be exhilarating and I can’t wait to go!
It’s a little embarrassing to admit, but I am a reality TV junkie. There is always a line-up on my DVR ready to go! I would list all the shows out but you probably would not care. Let’s just say if it’s on Bravo, I’ll watch it 😁
